Norfolk, Va -- Radhames Liz struck out six batters over six strong innings and the Indianapolis Indians (67-48) amassed 11 hits to defeat the Norfolk Tides (65-48), 6-5, Saturday night at Harbor Park.

John Bowker and Willy Garcia hit home runs as the Tribe moved to 4-2 on their seven-game road trip.

Bowker led off the third inning with a towering blast to right field, the first of three Indians runs in the frame. Keon Broxton also singled home a run to extend his consecutive on-base streak to 32 games. The stretch ranks just five shy of the International League's longest on the year from former Indianapolis MVP, Matt Hague.

Liz (4-4) worked around five hits, a walk and an unearned run in the win.

The Tides then rallied for a second straight night in the ninth, but came up one run short as closer Blake Wood celebrated his 30th birthday with his 24th save of the season.
