
Tri-City Wins with a Walk off in Extras

Tri-City Dust Devils News Release
The Tri-City Dust Devils beat the Boise Hawks 4-3 in extra innings Wednesday night at Gesa Stadium. The Dust Devils (29-23 Overall, 7-7 Second Half) got some clutch heroics from Justin Pacchioli, who hit a walk off RBI double in the 10
th inning (17-35 Overall, 3-11 Second Half). It was the eighth straight loss for the Hawks.
Austin Allen was a notable hitter for Tri-City with a double and an RBI in the game. Carlos Belen and Peter Van Gansen each had an RBI in the game as well.
Scott Burcham had an RBI triple for the Hawks. Kevin Padlo added to the offensive output with two RBIs. Brian Mundell had a double on the night. Former Dust Devil Marcos Derkes had a hit and a stolen base. Eric Toole had two hits.
Tri-City starting pitcher Jose Castillo pitched four innings. Castillo struck out four batters and gave up one run on five hits. Phil Maton (4-1) got the win for the Dust Devils in relief. Maton pitched an inning, striking out one batter and gave up just one hit.
Starting pitcher and former Dust Devil Logan Sawyer pitched five innings for the Hawks. Sawyer had four strikeouts and gave up three hits in his outing. Cristian Quintin (3-4) received the loss for Boise. Quintin pitched two innings and gave up one run on two hits.
The Dust Devils and Hawks will play the second game of their five game series tomorrow night at Gesa Stadium.
