Logan Sawyer held on to the lead and never let go, mowing through the Dust Devils lineup, allowing just three hits with four strikeouts while tossing five shutout innings.
The score held until the seventh inning when the Hawks added two runs on back-to-back RBI singles from Scott Burcham and Padlo to push the lead to 3-0.
The Dust Devils got on the board in the bottom half of the inning, taking advantage of three walks and two hit batters by Hawks relievers to pull to within one at 3-2.

The game remained tied and moved into extra innings where the Dust Devils won it in walk-off fashion courtesy of a Justin Pacchioli RBI double, securing the 4-3 victory.
