Tri-City Suffers One Run Loss
May 29, 2021 - Northwest League (NWL)
Tri-City Dust Devils News Release
The Tri-City Dust Devils (6-16) were unable to pull off a comeback at Gesa Stadium on Friday night as the team fell to the Hillsboro Hops 3-2. Francisco Del Valle delivered at the plate, driving in one of Tri-City's two runs and drawing three walks.
Davis Daniel suffered the loss despite a solid outing for the Dust Devils. Daniel surrendered three runs in six innings of work and struck out 11 batters. His 11 strikeouts were the most a single pitcher has had against the Hops in Hillsboro's franchise history.
Coming up in the fifth matchup of the six-game series on Saturday night the Dust Devils will send right-hander Aaron Hernandez to the mound, while right-hander Matt Tabor will toe the rubber for the Hops. It will be Red Out the Park Night at Gesa Stadium. Wear red or your Los Angeles Angels gear for a chance to win prizes throughout the evening.
Tickets for home games in May are now available by going to www.dustdevilsbaseball.com or by calling the team's office at (509) 544-8789. With capacity restrictions in place, it's more important than ever to get your tickets prior to the day of the game.
