Tri-City Americans News Release

KENNEWICK, WA - Today, the Tri-City Americans are proud to announce that 16-year-old prospect Adam Wihak and 15-year-old Jaden Schwartz have been selected to attend the 2007 Sask First Summer Camp, from July 10-14, being held in Wilcox, Saskatchewan.

The Sask First Program was designed to provide a better understanding of the game as well as to promote the development of quality players, coaches, trainers, officials and administrators. Wihak, a 5'10" 165 lb product of Regina, SK, was a fourth-round selection (70th overall) of the Americans in the 2006 Bantam Draft. Wihak spent the 2006-07 season playing for the Regina Pat Canadians AAA Midget, appearing in 39 games and tallying eight goals, 15 points and 30 penalty minutes.

Schwartz was selected by Tri-City in the eighth round (173rd overall) in the 2007 Bantam Draft. The 5'7" 150 lb Wilcox, SK-native led the South Saskatchewan Bantam League in scoring after notching 55 goals and 129 points in only 25 games.
