
Hitmen To Open 2007-08 Regular Season Against Red Deer Rebels

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club announced today they will open the 2007-08 Western Hockey League Regular Season Schedule with a home and home against the Red Deer Rebels.
The Hitmen will begin their 13th season on Friday, September 21st with their home opener against the Rebels. Game time is 7 p.m. (MT) in the Pengrowth Saddledome.
Calgary will then make the return trip to Red Deer the following night on Saturday, September 22nd. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
This marks the fifth season in a row the Hitmen and Rebels will open their WHL season with back-to-back games against each other.
The complete 2007-08 Hitmen regular season schedule has yet to be finalized and will be released in August.
Meanwhile, the Hitmen also announced today their entire 2007-08 WHL Exhibition schedule.
The Hitmen will play five exhibition games against four Central Division rivals.
