
Hockey Alberta Invites Four Tri-City Prospects

KENNEWICK, WA - Today, the Tri-City Americans are proud to announce that prospects Jordan Messier, Patrick Holland, Tanner Olsdad and Justin Feser have been selected to attend the 2007 Hockey Alberta Under-16 Camp, being held in Camrose, Alberta.
The players participating in the 2007 U-16 Camp are all competing for the chance to represent Alberta as one of 11 athletes selected to Team Pacific for the 2009 World U17 Hockey Challenge. The selection process for the top 80 Alberta players will continue with a week long provincial camp in Camrose July 16 - 22, 2007. The camp will expose the boys to high levels of competition and test their abilities to compete for an entire week.
Messier, a 6'2" 185 lb product of Canmore, AB, was the first selection (40th overall) of the Americans in the recent 2007 Bantam Draft. Playing for the prestigious Notre Dame Hounds in Saskatchewan, Messier tallied 31 goals and 83 points in just 23 games.
Holland was selected by Tri-City in the sixth round (125th overall) in the 2007 Bantam Draft. The 5'6" 112 lb Lethbridge, AB-native played 32 games for the Lethbridge Golden Eagles, while recording 20 goals and 64 points.
Olsdad hails from Calgary, AB and spent last season with the Calgary Stampeders after being selected in the eighth round (172nd overall). He appeared in 32 games and notched 25 goals and 43 points.
Feser, who calls Red Deer, AB home, was taken in the ninth round (194th overall). He spent last season as a member of the Red Deer Chiefs, playing in 32 games and collecting 21 goals and 44 points.
