Arkansas Travelers News Release
San Antonio, TX-Monday night's series finale between the Arkansas Travelers and San Antonio Missions was canceled due to rain. Because it was the final scheduled meeting of the season between the clubs it will not be made up.
It was also going to be the final meeting between the franchises with San Antonio leaving the league next season. The all-time series now ends in a tie, 310-310.
After an off-day on Tuesday, the Travs begin a four game homestand on Wednesday night with the first of four against the Springfield Cardinals. First pitch is at 7:10 for a $1 hot dog night with right-hander Nathan Bannister (5-5, 5.58) on the hill opposite righty Anthony Shew (4-4, 4.94). The game will be broadcast on the Sports Animal 920, the First Pitch App, TuneIn radio and milb.tv.
