San Antonio, TX - A bases clearing double by Fernando Tatis, Jr. broke a tie and sent the Arkansas Travelers to their fourth consecutive loss in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the San Antonio Missions on Sunday night. Tatis tattoed one past the third base bag with two out in the seventh to score the three decisive runs. Those runs came after the Travelers had runners at second and third with one out in the top of the inning but failed to score. Arkansas missed out on scoring chances throughout the night going 0-9 with runners in scoring position. Starter Anthony Misiewicz threw five innings of one-run ball with six strikeouts but did not factor in the decision. For the second straight night in San Antonio, the game was late in starting. With the tarp on the field, rain was expected but never came and first pitch was delayed by 38 minutes.

Moments That Mattered

* Chris Mariscal scored the Travs only run of the night in the top of the second. He opened the inning with a walk, stole second, moved to third on a groundout and then came home on a wild pitch.

* Consecutive walks began the top of the seventh with a sacrifice bunt moving the runners to second and third. Eric Yardley came out of the Missions bullpen and struck out Logan Taylor for out number two then Ryan Scott's liner to right was snared by Nick Schulz as he raced back.

* Tatis' heroics were set up by the bottom of the Missions lineup. With two out and a runner at first, Michael Gettys singled and then Rod Boykin walked to load the bases and get Tatis to the plate.

Notable Travs Performances
