Dickey-Stephens Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas - The Arkansas Travelers (9-21, 45-55) were blown out for the second game this series by the Tulsa Drillers (15-14, 45-55). After losing 13-1 on Saturday night, the Travs were downed 12-3 on Monday. Fernando Rodriguez (5-8) allowed eight runs in five innings while watching his ERA balloon to 6.00. Tulsa scored in six out of nine inning en route to the victory.

Fernando looked sharp in the first inning, setting the Drillers down in order but he pitched only one more scoreless inning and left in the sixth with a run in and a man on first.

Three consecutive singles started the second inning and led to three Tulsa runs. A lead-off walk followed by a single started the third and led to two runs. After two outs on three pitches in the fourth inning, Fernando Rodriguez proceeded to hit Matt Miller who scored when the next batter, Tony Blanco, doubled right field.

The Travelers were able to get on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fifth inning when red-hot Brian Stavisky led off the inning with a single and scored on Wil Ortiz' sacrifice fly.

With Dexter Fowler on first base and one out in the sixth, Travs' manager Bobby Magallanes brought Daniel Davidson out of the bullpen in his first game back from Salt Lake. Davidson gave up an RBI double to Miller to put the Drillers up 8-0. Jeff Kindel made it 9-0 with an RBI single up the middle.

Chris Pettit laced a 3-2 pitch from Ching-Lung Lo (8-7) over the left-field wall for his second home run of the season. Pettit finished the game 2-for-4.

Lo worked the final five innings and allowed three runs on six hits for his eighth win of the season.

Tulsa tacked on two more runs in the eighth inning off reliever Francisco Rodriguez. Francisco walked the first two men he faced and both came around to score for an 11-2 lead.

Ortiz led off the eighth with a double to left and scored on a double by Coby Smith for the Travs' third and final run.

Tulsa wasn't finished however, putting up another run in the ninth inning with a walk to Justin Nelson who scored on a single by Eric Young Jr. to cap the scoring against Doug Brandt.

Jeff Francis started the game for Tulsa on a rehab assignment for the Colorado Rockies and pitched the first 3.2 innings and faced the minimum 11 batters. He allowed a lone hit to Travs' catcher Brian Walker. Walker was then erased on a double play off the bat of Ryan Leahy.

Time of game was 2:59 and paid attendance was 5,595.
