CHARLESTON, SC - Saturday night's South Atlantic League game between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Asheville Tourists at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park has been suspended due to rain.

The game was called after two complete innings with the Tourists ahead, 1-0, when thunderstorms drenched the Lowcountry. The teams waited about an hour until the decision to postpone the affair.

The contest will resume in the top of the third inning at 4:05 p.m. Sunday and will go the scheduled nine innings. The second game, which will follow approximately 30 minutes after game one's conclusion, is scheduled for seven innings.

Charleston is slated to send righty Eric Wordekemper (2-2, 1.79 ERA) while Asheville counters with righty Alan Johnson (8-4, 4.10 ERA) game two of Sunday's twin bill.

Fans holding tickets to Saturday's game may use them for Sunday's twin bill.
