Williamsport scored seven runs and pounded out 12 hits, only to fall to State College 9-7 in the series finale.
Williamsport committed a season-high four errors in the ball game.
Every Crosscutter had at least one hit in the loss. Ben Pelletier, Jonathan Guzman and Brayan Gonzalez each finished with two hits on the night. Guzman finished with two RBI and Gonzalez had a team-high three RBI.
Francisco Morales went 3.2 innings, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five Spikes batters.
Austin Ross suffered the loss in his Cutters debut, allowing three runs, one earned, on one hit and three walks while striking out two.
The Crosscutters allowed a season-high nine runs on 11 hits and eight walks, which was one walk shy of tying their season-high.
