
Torres walks off Cutters to beat the Scrappers

Thursday night at Susquehanna Bank Park at Bowman Field the Cutters took the season series from Mahoning Valley in walk-off fashion 2-1.
Deivi Grullon led off the bottom of the ninth inning drawing a walk and was pinch run for by Chase Harris. Jan Hernandez then laid down a sacrifice bunt to move Harris to second base with one out.
Robinson Torrres then singled into shallow left center field off Scrappers reliever Cortland Cox and Harris scored without a throw to complete the walk-off win 2-1.
Grullon tripled and scored the tying run on a Jan Hernandez RBI single in the seventh inning.
Cutters starter Alejandro Arteaga was outstanding going six innings allowing a run on five hits and striking out a season high eight batters.
