The Toronto Marlies posted a record of 1-0-0-1 this past week.

In the second and final meeting of the season between the two teams, Toronto defeated the Hershey Bears, AHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Forward Andrew Crescenzi recorded his first career AHL goal while Tim Connolly notched the game winning tally midway through the second period. Drew MacIntyre recorded his first win as a member of the Marlies. Toronto went 0- for-3 on the powerplay and 4-for-5 on the penalty kill.

On Monday, Toronto was defeated by the Houston Aeros, AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, by a score of 2-1 in a shootout. Tim Connolly recorded his fifth goal of the season while Drew MacIntyre stopped 12 of 13 shots in the loss. Toronto went 0-for-5 on the powerplay and 4-for-4 on the penalty kill.

Look Ahead:

The Marlies travel to New York tonight where they will play the Syracuse Crunch, AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, at 7 p.m. Tonight's game marks the first of two meetings between the two teams this season. Tyler Johnson leads the Crunch in points with 48 in 49 games. Syracuse currently ranks first in the Eastern Conference with 66 points.

Toronto returns home for a Saturday afternoon game against the Milwaukee Admirals, AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m. The Admirals rank third in the Midwest Division with 52 points. Forward Taylor Beck leads Milwaukee in points with 37 in 42 games.

In their final game of the week, Toronto will host the St. John's IceCaps, AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets, on Sunday afternoon. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m. In three games against the IceCaps so far this season, Toronto holds a record of 2-1-0-0. Jason Jaffray leads St. John's in points with 30 in 42 games.
