ON THE SCORESHEET

- William Nylander opened the scoring for the Marlies, recording his 17th goal of the season. The goal is Nylander's 43rd point of the season and moves him to 11th in league scoring.

- Zach Hyman scored the eventual game winning goal, 41 second after the Nylander tally. The goal is Hyman's 12th of the season and moves him to 11th in rookie scoring.

- Rinat Valiev now has assists in three straight games. Through 48 games this season the rookie defenceman has recorded 20 points and maintains a +/- of +32, good for second in the AHL.
