Rangers Assign Brady Skjei to Hartford

NEW YORK - New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has assigned defenseman Brady Skjei to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Skjei has skated in three games with the Rangers this season, registering three shots on goal and two penalty minutes. He was credited with two hits and recorded one shot on goal in 22:17 of ice time last night at New Jersey after being recalled by the Blueshirts earlier in the day.

The 6-3, 215-pounder has skated in 52 games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering three goals and 19 assists for 22 points, along with 20 penalty minutes. Skjei is tied for second on the Wolf Pack in assists this season. He is also tied for first among Hartford defensemen in assists and ranks second among team defensemen in points in 2015-16.
