
Schroeder Recalled to Minnesota

DES MOINES, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Wednesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Jordan Schroeder (pronounced SHRAY-duhr) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and placed forward Jason Zucker (pronounced ZOOK-ER) on Injured Reserve due to a concussion suffered in Sunday's game against Chicago.
Schroeder, 25 (9/29/90), has tallied one goal in 13 games with Minnesota this season. He has notched 30 points (11-19=30) in 35 games with Iowa including 14 points (3-11=14) in his last 12 games. Schroeder ranks tied for first on the team in assists and third in goals and scoring. The 5-foot-9, 184-pound native of Lakeville, Minn., recorded eight points (3-5=8) and a plus-9 rating in 25 games with Minnesota last season and owns 24 points (10-14=24) and a plus-2 rating in 94 career NHL contests with Vancouver and the Wild. Schroeder was originally selected by Vancouver in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and wears sweater No. 10 with the Wild.
Zucker, 24 (1/16/92), has recorded 22 points (12-10=22) in 58 games with Minnesota this season. He ranks fourth on the team with 135 shots on goal and tied for fourth in goals.
Iowa hosts the Manitoba Moose on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The game will kick-start "Winning Wednesdays" at Wells Fargo Arena. If the Iowa Wild win all fans in attendance will receive a ticket to the next Wednesday home game (Mar. 30) courtesy of NASH ICON. The Wild will also be hosting a "Read Across America Book Drive". Fans who donate a book will receive a ticket voucher to a future Iowa Wild game. Wednesday will also be "Jim Beam and NASH FM Guys Night", featuring drink specials of $5 Beam Orchard Twists and $10 Beam Orchard Twists in a mason jar.
The Wild embarks on a seven-game road trip starting Friday, Feb. 26. The team makes stops in Grand Rapids (2), Texas (2), Manitoba (2), and Milwaukee (1) before returning home on Sunday, Mar. 13 to host the Milwaukee Admirals at 5 p.m. The Subway/Star 102.5 Combo Pack is available for purchase starting at $12. The combo pack includes one ticket, one hot dog, one soda, and one Subway coupon. The Wild hosts a live Red jersey auction following the game courtesy of the American Heart Association. A canned food drive presented by Billion Buick, Price Chopper, and Zeroez takes place during the game, benefitting MoveTheFood.org.

The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena.
