Toronto FC announced Wednesday that the club has placed midfielder Reggie Lambe on waivers.

"We'd like to thank Reggie for his contributions to Toronto FC over the past two seasons, and wish him well in his future endeavours," said Toronto General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko.

Lambe, 23, made 66 combined appearances, scoring five goals, and added four assists in two seasons for Toronto FC. He was part of the club's 2012 Amway Canadian Championship winning side, scoring the game winning goal against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the second leg of the final.
