Toronto â Attention all women! Have you ever wished you could fully understand the game of football and impress all of your friends? What better way to understand the game, than to learn from CFL's 2004 Grey Cup Champions. Based on last year's success, the Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to once again offer Football 101 seminars, specifically designed for women.
Women will join designated Toronto Argonauts players and coaches for an interactive evening of training, refreshments, fun and prizes.
During the information sessions, participants will learn the basics of football â touchdowns, kickoffs, player positions and formations and play strategies. This seminar will also include equipment information sessions and a locker room tour. Throughout the evening, participants will have an opportunity for pictures and autographs with the players and coaches. In addition, those registered will receive 2 complimentary tickets for the upcoming home game, allowing them the occasion to experience their new found knowledge.
For those who attended Football 101 last year and for those who participate this year, you are now able to take your knowledge to the next level with a newly added Football 102.
Most seminars are located at the Argo practice facility in Mississauga, with the exception of two, which will be located at Windows in the Rogers Centre. The evenings begin at 6:30 p.m. with registration. There are nine dates to choose from:
