June 2, 2005 - Canadian Football League (CFL) News Release

Toronto, Ontario – The Canadian Football League announced today the return of its online fantasy football game for its second year, with registration now available through www.cfl.ca. Wendy's also returns as the exclusive title sponsor of both the regular season and post season CFL fantasy football program. The 2004 season saw close to 20,000 fans log on to Wendy's FSN CFL with more than 45,000 game entries played.

Through its partnership with Fantasy Sports Network (FSN), the CFL and Wendy's offer football fans and sports pool participants the chance to compete and win online. With basic and expert game platforms, regular exclusive industry insight and analysis, and direct links to www.cfl.ca, Wendy's FSN CFL unleashes the on-field excitement of Canadian football into the hands of its fans. New to the 2005 season, Wendy's FSN CFL introduces daily fantasy content including injury reports and commentary on recent transactions. The program will also launch a dedicated fantasy football message board on www.cfl.ca, allowing fans to provide their own insight into the fantasy world of the CFL.

"We are excited to be bringing fantasy football back to sports fans for the 2005 season, and proud to have Wendy's on board once again as a key sponsor of the program. Wendy's FSN CFL not only allows us to grow the connection between CFL fans and our game, but it also provides the perfect medium for die-hard CFL fans to better connect and compete with each other," said Brent Scrimshaw, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships. "We have seen tremendous interest from our fan base in the first year and expect that with the enhancements planned for 2005 even more fans will tune in online to participate."

"Working with the CFL and Wendy's, we continue to advance the Canadian football fantasy platform to ensure we're providing the most exciting, interactive experience for sports fans," said Steve Hulford, General Manager of FSN. "In listening to feedback from CFL fans, we have and will continue to bring new games and features to the Wendy's FSN CFL program. We're excited to be back for our second season, and look forward to delivering another summer of fantasy football, Canadian style."

CFL partners Sony of Canada Ltd. and PorterCable also resign onto the Wendy's FSN CFL roster this season, offering fans the opportunity to once again prove their Canadian football knowledge and compete for weekly and monthly prizing. As reward for a season long battle with top scores on Wendy's FSN CFL, participants will also have a chance to compete for a Sony 42" Grand Wega Television and the Ultimate Dream Workshop from PorterCable as grand prizes valued at more than $4,000 each.
