Hamilton, Ontario â The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has released import defensive lineman Johnny Scott. Scott was participating in the 12th CFL training camp of his career after spending the previous 11 seasons in Hamilton (2003-2004), Toronto (2000-2002), B.C. (1996-1999) and Shreveport (1994-1995).
Johnny played the past two seasons in Hamilton where he recorded 59 tackles and five sacks in 29 games.
"Johnny was a great player for us last year and was a tremendous player in this league for a very long time," said Ticats head coach Greg Marshall. "We wish Johnny all the best in his future and will miss him both on and off the field."
