Tornadoes postponed due to rain

Worcester, MA -- The game between the Worcester Tornadoes and Nashua Pride scheduled for Thursday night, July 3, has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions and flooding in the visitors dugout.

The game will be made up on Thursday, July 10, as part of a doubleheader, with Game One tentatively scheduled to start at 6:05pm. Game Two will start approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of Game One. Both games will be seven-inning affairs. The Tornadoes will travel to Brockton tomorrow to play Game One of a four-game series against the Rox on Friday night. LHP Tom Cochran, Thursday's scheduled starter, will now start Friday night for Worcester. He will be opposed by Brockton righty Wayne Lundgren. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.
