Lancaster Stormers News Release
LANCASTER, Pa.-The Atlantic League game between the Lancaster Barnstormers and the Camden Riversharks scheduled for Thursday, June 4 has been postponed due to poor field conditions caused by steady rains throughout the day. The Bark in the Park promotion will be rescheduled for a future date to be determined.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, June 5 beginning at 5 p.m. Clipper Magazine Stadium gates will open at 4 p.m. The Barnstormers and Riversharks will play two seven-inning games.
Tickets to the postponed game on June 4 can be exchanged at the box office for tickets to the doubleheader on June 5 or to any other remaining regular season game in 2009, based on availability.
The Barnstormers weekend promotions include Scout Night Sleepover and a post-game fireworks extravaganza on Friday, a baseball cap giveaway courtesy of Comcast along with a post-game fireworks spectacular on Saturday, and Brides and Bases on Sunday presented by the Lancaster County Convention Center and the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.
