Today's Game Postponed

Long Island Ducks News Release


(Central Islip, N.Y., June 4, 2009) - Tonight's (Thursday, June 4) game between the Long Island Ducks and the York Revolution has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Flock and the Revs were set to begin a four-game series and their second series of the season.

Thursday's (6/4) game will be made up as part of a day-night split doubleheader on Saturday, June 6, with each game slated for nine innings. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. with game two at 7:00 p.m.

The Ducks and Revolution will now open their four game-game set on Friday. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. Fans can tune into all the action live on WNYG 1440 AM, or via streaming webcast at www.liducks.com, with Casey Lynn calling the play-by-play.

The club returns home on Monday, June 8, to host the Somerset Patriots at Citibank Park. First pitch will be at 6:35 p.m., and the ballpark gates open at 5:35 p.m. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Autograph Books, courtesy of Newsday. Fans will also be invited onto the field for a pregame autograph session with the 2009 Long Island Ducks, as well as following the game for Kids Run the Bases, courtesy of Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
