Tonight's Game Postponed Due to Travel Conditions

GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel in conjunction with the United States Hockey League and Des Moines Buccaneers today announced the postponement of the game originally scheduled for tonight, Friday, Jan. 15 at 7:05 pm CT at Fox Valley Ice Arena between the Steel and Buccaneers.

Due to weather conditions in Iowa, Des Moines is unable to safely travel to Chicago for tonight's game.

The Steel are still scheduled to take on the Waterloo Black Hawks on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Fox Valley Ice Arena with a 7:05 pm CT puck drop.

Chicago has won its last two contests and have earned at least a point in the standings in 15 out of 18 games played this season. Steel skaters currently account for four of the top 10 scorers in the league while topping the USHL with a 5.33 goals per game average.
