Tonight's Game in Salem Postponed Due to Rain

SALEM, VA - Monday's series opener between the Carolina Mudcats and Salem Red Sox at LewisGale Field in Salem was postponed due to inclement weather. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow night beginning at 5:05 p.m. in Salem.

RHP Max Povse was scheduled to start for Carolina in Monday's series opener. He will now start game one of Tuesday's doubleheader and RHP Wes Parsons will start for the Mudcats in game two. Both games will be shortened to seven innings each.

Tuesday's games will be the first and second of Carolina's current seven game road trip through Salem and Lynchburg.

The Mudcats return to home action at Five County Stadium on Tuesday, May 10 against the Potomac Nationals. The May 10 game is the first of a seven game homestand in Zebulon. The next home stand will feature a drawstring bag giveaway (first 1,200 kids ages 14 and under) on Saturday, May 14 and Bark in the Park Day presented by Dirty Dogs Spa on Sunday, May 15.
