
Jordan Betts Joins Salem Red Sox Roster

The Salem Red Sox have received INF Jordan Betts from Double-A Portland and transferred INF Mitchell Gunsolus to Low-A Greenville. The following roster changes have been made:
ADD: INF Jordan Betts
DELETE: INF Mitchell Gunsolus
Betts returns for his second stint with Salem this year. Betts hit .368 with three doubles and a home run for the Red Sox in five games this season. He was assigned to Portland on April 18, and hit .152 with a home run in 13 games with the Sea Dogs.
Gunsolus returns to Greenville, where he began the season, after hitting .043 in seven games with the Red Sox. Gunsolus hit .303 with two home runs in eight games with the Drive.
Betts has been assigned number 41. The Red Sox roster sits at the Carolina League maximum of 25 players.
