Toledo Walleye Surpass Ticket Milestone

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye announced today that the team has sold over 200,000 tickets for the 2011-12 season.

This number includes season tickets, group outings, and individual tickets sold for this season. The Walleye currently lead the ECHL in overall attendance at 134,005 through 23 home game games. The team has 13 home games left on the regular season schedule. The next home game is Saturday, February 4 at 7 p.m. at the Huntington Center.

Assistant General Manager/Ticket Sales & Operations, Erik Ibsen said, "This is a tremendous milestone for Toledo hockey. To reach the 200,000 mark for three straight seasons is a testament to this terrific community. We are thankful for our fans and the support they have shown the Walleye in their first three seasons and we are happy to see the momentum continue."
