Toledo Trades Two

Toledo Walleye News Release
(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they have traded forward Adam Edinger and defenseman Trevor Read to the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL in exchange for center Mike Nelson and forward Jeff Zehr. After acquiring Zher the Storm then sent him to the Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL for defenseman Josh Legge, future considerations and cash as part of the three-way deal.
Head Coach and Director of player personal Steve Harrison talked about the trade "This trade will add some feistiness and grit to our hockey club. Both of these guys will bring that added toughness, but they bring a great deal of skill as well.
Mike Nelson has appeared in 7 games for the Peoria Rivermen this season, netting 2 goals and 14 penalty minutes. This is Mike Nelson's second season in the ECHL. He started out with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, before finishing last season with the Rivermen.
This is Josh Legge's second season in the ECHL. In 8 games with the Grrrowl this season Legge has scored 1 goal and has 6 penalty minutes. He appeared in 59 games last season with Greenville where he scored 2 goals, 6 assists and added 91 penalty minutes.
