Fresno Falcons News Release
FRESNO, Calif. â The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 100, in conjunction with the National Electrical Contractors Association, has purchased 20 Fresno Falcons tickets to each of the team's 36 home games this year and will be giving them away to several children's non-profit organizations throughout the Central Valley.
The program is named "Blaine's Buddies", after Falcons head coach and general manager Blaine Moore, who himself participates as a "big brother" in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
"The owners and workers who affiliate with the IBEW Local 100 of Fresno have been giving back to the community for the last 100 years," said Mike Stein, the IBEW member who is coordinating the Blaine's Buddies program with its various non-profit partners. "It is in this tradition of giving that we are sponsoring Blaine's Buddies."
IBEW Local 100 is still seeking non-profit groups devoted to helping children for which to provide Falcons tickets. For more information, please contact Mike Stein directly at (559) 907-0928 or the Falcons' Director of Community Relations, Chris Catanzaro, at (559) 485-7825.
