Toledo Mud Hens News Release
On Tuesday, May 23, the Mud Hens will return to Fifth Third Field, coming off of a ten-game road trip, for an eight-game homestand that brings to town two IL North opponents. Buffalo and Rochester will both be here for a four-game set, starting with the Bisons on Tuesday night and ending on Tuesday, May 30, against the Red Wings. This homestand will feature the final 10:30 a.m. "School Day" of the season, two high school home run derbys and post-game fireworks among other promotions.

Tuesday, May 23 (Buffalo, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - Tonight's game can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket. The game can be seen on tape-delay at 11 PM on BCSN. It will also be the third Promedica Testing Tuesday of the season as well as Deaf Awareness Night, with sign language interpreting. Vic Darensbourg, a member of the 2005 Governors' Cup champion team now with Buffalo, will also be recognized at 6:15 on the field.
Wednesday, May 24 (Buffalo, 1st pitch @ 10:30 am) - BCSN will have all of the action - LIVE at 10:30 for today's game. As always, turn the radio dial to 1470 AM, The Ticket to catch all of the action live on the airwaves. Today marks the third, and final, "School Day" of the season. Students in attendance will receive a school folder, courtesy of Pepsi and Red Robin as they exit the park. A special appearance by Red Robin's very own - "Red" will have children entertained all afternoon. There will also be a pre-game ceremony to announce the winners of the Promedica Health System Swing Big campaign.
Thursday, May 25 (Buffalo, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - Representatives from the Ohio Department of Agriculture will be on hand to pass out information regarding the emerald ash borer. Catch all of the action LIVE on BCSN and as always, on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket.
Friday, May 26 (Buffalo, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - BCSN will broadcast the game LIVE or fans can also catch all of the action live on Sports Radio, 1470 AM - The Ticket. Tonight marks the fourth night of the High School Home Run Derby, featuring two players from local high schools, Fostoria High School and Woodmore High School. It will also be Ohio Lottery Night at Fifth Third Field, as the first 5,000 fans will receive instant-win scratch off tickets. Manager Larry Parrish will also have a special award presentation prior to tonight's game (2005 Minor League Manager of the Year). In addition, fans will be treated to post-game fireworks.
Saturday, May 27 (Rochester, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Tonight marks the fifth night of the High School Home Run Derby, featuring two players from local high schools, Perrysburg High School and Danbury High School. Catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket or the game can be seen LIVE on TV5. Post-game fireworks will once again entertain the fans following the game.

Sunday, May 28 (Rochester, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - Baseball 101 For Ladies will take place prior to the game (2:00-3:00 in the Roost) along with free face painting. Fans can also take part in Autograph Sunday prior to the game (5:45-6:15) and Kids Run The Bases will take place after the game. BCSN will carry the game LIVE or fans can catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket.
