March 25, 2012 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
GLENDALE, AZ (March 25, 2012) - With the conclusion of the Central Hockey League's (CHL) regular season, Evansville forward Todd Robinson has earned the Joe Burton Scoring Championship finishing the regular season with 92 points (23 goals, 69 assists).
The award is given annually to the league's leading scorer and is presented in honor of Joe Burton, the CHL's career leader with 985 points accumulated over 11 seasons with the Oklahoma City Blazers and the first person inducted into the CHL Hall of Fame this past January.
Robinson led the league in scoring for a majority of the season and along the way captured three Oakley CHL Player of the Week awards.
