Trenton, NJ – The Trenton Titans Professional Hockey Team announced today that they raised over $36,000 in their St. Patrick's Day jersey auction.

The auction was held following the Titans' 7-3 victory over the Charlotte Checkers last night at the Sovereign Bank Arena. The minimum bid was $200 for the jersey and the socks. Scott Bertoli's jersey earned the highest bid of the night at $5,000, while goaltender Dan Murphy's jersey went for $4,400. All of the money raised will go to the Megan Nicole Kanka Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Trenton Titans Booster Club. 18 of the 23 jerseys auctioned off during the evening went for bids of $1,000 or higher.

"We would like to thank our fans and supporters who participated in this event," stated Titans' President and General Manager Brian McKenna. "Through their generosity we are able to make some very significant contributions to these worthwhile causes."

The Titans continue their five-game home stand Friday night when they host the Roanoke Express at 7:30 pm. Tickets for all remaining home games are available at the Sovereign Bank Arena box office, all TicketMaster outlets or charge by at (609) 520-8383.
