Friday is Trading Card Night; Saturday is Fan Appreciation Night

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades will raffle their Bud Light warm-up jerseys away to several lucky fans following their game on Saturday night against the 2002 Brabham Cup Champion Louisiana Ice Gators as a part of Fan Appreciation Night at TECO Arena. Each fan will receive a raffle ticket when they enter the building. Immediately following the game, the Everblades will draw the numbers of the lucky fans who will go home with the jerseys that night. The raffle will be a part of Fan Appreciation Night where the Everblades will give each fan a prize bag and a chance to walk away with an Everblades jersey along with a host of other prizes. Several animals from Busch Gardens will also be on hand on the concourse. Fans are also encouraged to bring a canned food item on Saturday to donate to the Harry Chapin Food bank.

On Friday night at TECO Arena prior to the game the first 2,000 fans 13 and under will receive a free pack of 2001-02 Everblades trading cards provided by the Everblades and WB-6.

Florida currently stands tied for third place with Pee Dee and South Carolina in the ECHL's Southeast Division. The Everblades remain three points behind the division leading Greenville Grrrowl. The Everblades host the 2002 Brabham Cup Champion Louisiana Ice Gators this Friday and Saturday night at TECO Arena. Saturday night is Fan Appreciation Night. Face-off is set for 7:30 on both nights. All 72 regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM, 98.9 "The Gulf" and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Mark Miller calling the play-by-play.
