Titans Finish Preseason With 3-1 Win

READING, PA (October 16, 2004) - The Trenton Titans were able to finish up their preseason schedule with some momentum as they came away with a 3-1 win in front of 3,930 at the Sovereign Center

Phil Lewandowski put the Titans up early with two goals just 1:15 minutes apart in the first period. The second-year pro put back a Rosario Ruggeri slapshot on the power play and fired a wrist shot past Reading goaltender Cody Rudkowsky at even strength for a 2-0 Titans lead.

Dan Sullivan cut the Titans lead in half just :26 into the third period, but Lewandowski struck again midway through the final frame to make the final score 3-1.

Trenton goaltender Andrew Allen looked strong making 37 saves on 38 shots to earn the win. Rudkowsky took the loss, as he turned away 20 of 23 shots.
