JOHNSTOWN, PA - Five different Trenton Titans lit the lamp in a 5-2 victory over the Johnstown Chiefs in front of 1,812 at Cambria County War Memorial
The Johnstown Chiefs drew first blood just 3:32 into the contest when David Bowman's point shot was deflected past Andrew Allen. The Titans, however, would come back to take the lead heading into the first intermission.
Les Haggett tied score at 8:15 when he put his own rebound past Chiefs goalie David Cann for his third goal of the year. Trenton then took a 2-1 edge with :20 left in the first period as Bryce Cockburn lifted the rebound from Rosario Ruggeri's point shot into the open net.
Rick Kowalsky was able to Trenton's lead to two with a breakaway goal 4:24 into the second period. The Chiefs would cut the Titans' cushion back to one goal on Dmitri Tarabrin's eighth of the year at 14:31.
Leon Hayward helped put his team back up by two with a power play goal just 2:13 seconds after Tarabrin's marker. Scott Bertoli completed the scoring with his 27th of the year at 19:27 of the second period.
Brent Robinson recorded two assists on the evening to extend his scoring streak to nine games. Andrew Allen stopped 28 of 30 shots for his eight win in his last nine starts. The Titans went 1-for-4 on the power play and 4-for-4 on the penalty kill.
