PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced the Second Team All-ECHL selections as determined in a vote of ECHL coaches.

In his second professional season, Augusta center Jamie Johnson is second in the ECHL with 57 assists and 79 points in 70 games while ranking fourth in the league with 31 power-play points and tied for fourth with 24 power-play assists. Johnson has 19 multiple-point games, including each of his last four games, and 15 multiple-assist games. He leads the Lynx with 22 goals and five game-winning goals.

Named to the ECHL All-Rookie Team on Thursday, South Carolina center Joe Tenute leads league rookies with 34 goals and 73 points while ranking third among all players in goals and fifth in scoring. He is tied for the rookie lead with 23 power-play points and ranks second with 39 assists. Selected in the eighth round (261st overall) by New Jersey in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Tenute, who scored a goal for the American Conference in the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game, scored a point in an ECHL season-high 14 consecutive games (8g-16a) and he tied the ECHL season highs for assists (5) and points (6) in a 7-3 win against Texas on March 8. Tenute, who celebrated his 23rd birthday on April 2, has 18 multiple-point games, including seven two-goal games and seven games with multiple assists.

Despite not playing in an ECHL game since February 27, Pensacola right wing Tyler Beechey remains tied for eighth in the league in scoring with 66 points (27g-39a) in 54 games. Beechey, who signed with St. John's of the American Hockey League on March 1, has career highs in goals, assists and points with the Ice Pilots, and he has seven points (2g-5a) in 10 games with St. John's. One of three players selected to the American Conference for the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game, Beechey has three multiple-goal and 14 multiple-point games and was the ECHL Player of the Month in January.

Pensacola defenseman Corey Neilson leads ECHL defensemen with 18 goals, five game-winning goals, 43 assists and 61 points and he ranks second among all players with 32 power-play points. Selected in the third round (53rd overall) by Edmonton in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-5 and 230-pound Neilson has been selected as a starter in the ECHL All-Star Game each of the past two seasons and was named Defenseman of the Year and First Team All-ECHL in 2003-04.

Acquired by Gwinnett on February 11, defenseman Randy Dagenais has 15 points (5g-10a) in 29 games with the Gladiators. The 25-year-old Dagenais is tied for third among ECHL defensemen with 14 goals and 47 points.

Pensacola goaltender Frederic Cloutier is 30-12-3 and ranks second in the ECHL in wins while ranking fourth with 1,350 saves and tied for fifth with four shutouts. Cloutier has a career best save percentage of .927 and a goals-against average of 2.39 while backstopping the Ice Pilots to the regular season point title. As a rookie in 2001-02, Cloutier was named ECHL Rookie of the Year and ECHL Goaltender of the Year and became the first goaltender to be named ECHL Most Valuable Player. He was also named First Team All-ECHL and to the ECHL All-Rookie team in 2001-02 after setting league records for goals-against average (1.84) and save percentage (.945). He was named as a starter in the ECHL All-Star Game in 2002 and 2004 and was selected by The Hockey News as the top goaltender in the ECHL in the publication's March 15 issue that focuses on goaltenders.

The recipient of the ECHL Sportsmanship Award will be announced on Saturday.
