Fort Wayne TinCaps News Release
The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster moves today:
RHP Matthew Shepherd placed on the disabled list. Shepherd, 23, pitched last night, allowing five earned runs in one inning. For the season, the Bluff City, Tennessee, native is 4-4 with a 4.36 ERA in 32 appearances.
RHP Ruben Mejia reinstated from the disabled list. Mejia, 21, is 3-5 with a 3.93 ERA in 19 games with Fort Wayne this season. He last saw action on August 6th.
Fort Wayne's roster stands at the Midwest League Limit of 25 players.
