Tigers Sign Dezainde
April 2, 2021 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers are excited to announce they have signed 2004 born Carlin Dezainde to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.
Dezainde played the 2019-2020 season with the Edge School Elite 15's in the CSSHL and tallied 28 points (11G, 17A) in 36 games with the club. He also appeared in 5 games for the Edge School U18 Prep team this season before being shutdown due to the pandemic. The 5'11" 161 lb forward had six goals and three assists in 5 games in the elite CSSHL U18 Division.
Tigers Director of Player Personnel Bobby Fox says "Carlin is a fast forward with good offensive instincts and vision. He plays hard and can buzz, making defencemen's lives miserable."
The Medicine Hat Tigers would like to welcome Carlin and his family to the organization and are looking forward to helping this young man achieve his hockey dreams. Carlin is expected to suit up for his game for the Orange and Black tonight when the Tigers take on the Calgary Hitmen at Co-op Place. Puck drop is 7:00pm.
