
Tigers Announce Training Camp

Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - The 2019-20 Western Hockey League season is approaching and the Medicine Hat Tigers will officially open training camp this week.
All players participating in the Tigers Training Camp will be split into four teams to play three round robin scrimmage games and a final throughout Friday and Saturday. The scrimmage games will be played with two 30 minute halves and running time. The Camp will end with two intra-squad games on Sunday.
Below is the schedule for training camp and the training camp roster will be released later this week. All on-ice sessions are open to the public and free to attend. Please use the Canalta Centre main doors to enter the building.
Friday, August 30 8:00 - 8:45 a.m. Goalie Session
9:00 - 10:45 a.m. Black vs. Orange
11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. White vs. Green
5:30 - 7:15 p.m. Black vs. White
7:30 - 9:15 p.m. Green vs. Orange
Saturday, August 31 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. Black vs Green
11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. White vs. Orange
5:00 - 6:45 p.m. 3 vs 4
7:00 - 8:45 p.m. 1 vs 2
Sunday, September 1 10:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Intra Squad Game
3:00 - 5:15 p.m. Intra Squad Game
The Tabbies' preseason will begin Wednesday, September 4th when they host the Swift Current Broncos at the Irvine Sports Complex. For their full preseason schedule, click here.
Season tickets for the Tigers' 50th anniversary season are currently on sale. The Orange and Black will open the season with a home and home series against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Friday, September 20th, the Tigers will travel to Lethbridge before returning home on the 21st to host the 'Canes.
