
Raiders Sign Ivan Kechkin

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce the signing of 2002-born forward Ivan Kechkin to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
Kechkin was selected by the Raiders with the 60th overall pick in the 2019 CHL Import Draft.
"Ivan arrived in Prince Albert last night and was very excited to get to the rink this morning," said Raiders General Manager Curtis Hunt. "He's looking forward to meeting and getting on the ice with some of our returning players before camp starts at the end of the week."
The Moscow, Russia product had six goals and 12 assists in 15 games for his hometown club in the Under-18 league. He added three goals and an assist in eight games.
The Raiders' 2019 Training Camp begins on Friday and runs through the weekend. On-ice sessions are open to the public. The camp concludes with the annual Green And White Game on Monday, September 2 at 1 p.m. Admission to the game is a non-perishable food item or a $2 donation for the Prince Albert Food Bank.

The 2019-20 Home Opener is Friday, September 20 when the Saskatoon Blades visit the Art Hauser Centre. Puck drop is 7 p.m.
