
Tigers Acquire Gavlas from Oil Kings

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers announced today that they have acquired Parker Gavlas from the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for a fourth round bantam draft pick in 2021.
"We would like to welcome Parker to the Tigers Organization. He played well against us last year in the playoffs and we are looking forward to working with him this season," said General Manager and Head Coach Willie Desjardins.
The 20-year-old Saskatoon, SK defenceman was acquired by the Oil Kings early last season from the Regina Pats. With the Oil Kings, he suited up for 46 games picking up 10 points (1G, 9A).

The Tigers will open their 2019-20 campaign this weekend in a home and home series against Central Division rivals, the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Friday the Tabbies travel West on Highway 3 to pay a visit to the Enmax Centre before returning home to host the 'Canes on Saturday at the Canalta Centre.
