Medicine Hat Tigers News Release


After 72 regular season games, the Medicine Hat Tigers finally know their opponent for the first round of the 2015 WHL Playoffs.

With a second-place finish in the Central Division, the Tigers will take on the Red Deer Rebels in Round One of the playoffs.

The Tigers finished with 7 more wins and 7 more points than the Rebels in the regular season, as Red Deer earned third place in the Central Division. This is the first year of the WHL's new Conference-Division hybrid format which sees the top 2 seeds in the Conference play the wildcard seeded teams, while the 2nd and 3rd place team from each division do battle.
