
Tickets for Game 3 of Empire State Yankees First-Round Playoff Series Now on Sale

ROCHESTER, NY - Tickets for Game 3 of the Empire State Yankees first-round playoff series on Friday, September 7 at Frontier Field are now on sale. The Empire State Yankees yesterday clinched the International League North Division Championship with a 5-0 win against Lehigh Valley. The Yankees will play the first two games of the series on the road.
Prior to Game 3, Rochester native and Yankees farmhand Cito Culver will sign autographs from 6:00 - 6:50 p.m. in the Red Wings Hall of Fame. He is a 2010 graduate of Irondequoit High School and a first-round draft pick of the Yankees. The 20-year-old has spent the 2012 season with Charleston of the Single-A South Atlantic League. There will also be a fireworks show following Game 3.
Tickets for Game 3 can be purchased at the Frontier Field box office, by calling (585) 423-WING (9464), or online at RedWingsBaseball.com. Advanced ticket prices are the same as regular-season games: $11.00 for Premium, $9.50 for Upper Box, and $7.00 for Reserved.

Game 2 Thursday, September 6 Empire State Yankees at Wild Card Winner
Game 3 Friday, September 7 Wild Card Winner at Empire State Yankees 7:05 p.m.
Game 4 Saturday, September 8 Wild Card Winner at Empire State Yankees 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
Game 5 Sunday, September 9 Wild Card Winner at Empire State Yankees 6:05 p.m. (if necessary)
Should a Game 4 be necessary at Frontier Field, tickets will go on sale either the morning of Friday, September 7 or Saturday, September 8, whenever the game is first guaranteed. Should a Game 5 be necessary at Frontier Field, tickets will go on sale the morning of Sunday, September 9.
All possible Empire State Yankees' post-season home games in 2012 will be played in Rochester. The Yankees played 38 regular-season home games at Frontier Field in 2012 while their home of PNC Field in Moosic, Pennsylvania undergoes a season-long renovation.
