Thursday's Tilt with Wisconsin Postponed

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Game three of a six-game series between the Cedar Rapids Kernels and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers was rained out Thursday at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. These teams will return to action at 6:35 p.m. Friday, and that contest will be followed by a Saturday doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games. Saturday's twin bill opener is slated for 5:05 p.m., and the doubleheader finale will start 30 minutes after the first tilt ends.

All fans who had a ticket for Thursday can visit the Kernels Ticket Office to exchange for a ticket of equal or lesser value to another 2021 Cedar Rapids Kernels regular season home game based on availability.

This 12-game Kernels homestand resumes Friday at 6:35 p.m. at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Fans that are unable to attend the contest will be able to follow the action with Chris Kleinhans-Schulz on www.kernels.com and MiLB.TV.

Two for One Friday is sponsored by 98.1 KHAK. All 16 oz. draft or canned beer and 20 oz. bottled soda or water will be two for the price of one at the concession stands.

Fans can purchase tickets for all Cedar Rapids Kernels home games by visiting www.kernels.com, going to the Kernels Ticket Office, or calling (319) 896-7560. The Kernels Ticket Office is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. On Sundays when the Kernels have a home game, the Kernels Ticket Office will open at 11:00 a.m.
