
Thursday's game vs. Camden postponed

(Central Islip, N.Y., Sept. 14, 2006) - Tonight's game versus the Camden Riversharks has been postponed due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, September 22 beginning at 6:05 p.m. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games, with the second game starting approximately 20-25 minutes following the first. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Tonight's tickets are good for September 22 or any other 2006 regular season game subject to availability. Tickets must be exchanged at the Citibank Park Box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value.
On Friday, the Ducks will take on the Bridgeport Bluefish at 7:05 p.m. in a playoff preview. That evening will also be Go West! Western Night. Tickets for this and all Ducks regular season and playoff home games can be purchased by stopping by the Citibank Park Box Office in person (M-F, 10-6; Saturdays 10-2), visiting www.liducks.com or by calling 631-940-TIXX today.
The Long Island Ducks are in their seventh season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
