NEWARK, NJ - September 14, 2006 - The Atlantic League game between the Newark Bears and Bridgeport Bluefish on Thursday evening at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard has been cancelled due to wet field conditions and additional forecasted rain. No make up date has been set.
The Bears will begin a three-game series against the Somerset Patriots Friday evening at Commerce Bank Ballpark with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 pm.
