Thunderbirds to Host Technology Challenge

Rio Rancho, NM - The New Mexico Thunderbirds have announced they will be hosting the first annual Technology Challenge between Intel and Hewlett Packard presented by the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber on Saturday, March 12 at 4:30 p.m.

The Technology Challenge will be a 5-on-5 basketball game between Intel and Hewlett Packard, where each company will have a roster of 13 players along with two coaches.

The game will take place prior to the Thunderbirds game on Hispanic Heritage night. Tickets are just $10 and will be good for both the Technology Challenge and the T-Birds game against the Dakota Wizards at 7:30 p.m. $4 of every ticket purchased will be donated to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

Hispanic Heritage Night will feature a halftime performance by Gonzalo, a Thundercat trading card giveaway and the chance to win great prizes including Lakers tickets, a Taos Ski Valley Vacation, an Angel Fire Deluxe Ski Vacation and VIP packages to the Ty Murray Invitational.
