SPURS RECALL JAMES ANDERSON FROM AUSTIN TOROS
The San Antonio Spurs yesterday announced that they have recalled rookie James Anderson from the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League. Anderson, a 6-6, 215-pound guard, was originally assigned to the Toros on January 26 for a rehab assignment after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot on November 11. He was recalled by the Spurs on January 29 and appeared in three games before being re-assigned to the Toros on February 7. Anderson played in seven games with Austin, averaging 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 25.1 minutes per game. He shot .447 (42-94) from the field, .346 (9-26) from three-point territory and .714 (10-14) from the free throw line.

The Mad Ants had seven players in double-figures. Rod Wilmont and Darnell Lazare led the charge with 17 apiece, Corey Allmond and Walker Russell added 16, and newly assigned Larry Sanders had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. The Armor were led by JamesOn Curry, who led all scorers with 34 points.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
37 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 12 NBA games last night, seven as starters.
Cleveland's Ramon Session recorded a double-double with 20 points and 12 assists in a loss to Houston.
Toronto's Amir Johnson had 17 points and was a perfect 8-for-8 from the field in a win over the Chicago.
Utah's C.J. Miles had 16 points off the bench in loss to Dallas.
Washington's Andray Blatche scored 16 points in a loss to Philadelphia.
