Thunder To Open Gates Early For May 23 Game

(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, will open the Waterfront Park gates early in anticipation of the standing room only crowd expected for Roger Clemens' potential start for the Thunder on Wednesday, May 23.

Roger Clemens will start for the Tampa Yankees (Class A) tonight, Friday, May 18, and if things go well, it is expected that he will be named the starting pitcher for the Thunder on May 23, weather permitting.

On Wednesday, May 23, the Thunder will open the gates at Waterfront Park at 4:30 PM for both season ticket holders and the general public. The promotion that night is Freddy Sanchez Bobbleheads to the 1st 2,000 fans ages 6 and over courtesy of DQ Grill & Chill. The giveaway of these bobblehead dolls will begin at 4:30 PM. Game time is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
